Eclipse; the real deal Monday, January 26, 2009 Solar Eclipse; A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the Sun and the Earth so that the Sun is wholly or partially obscured Hello my fellow Earthlings. Today i woke up with an ambition; my ambition today was that i HAD to watch the eclipse today. this would really be a once in a lifetime chance to see the eclipse. i really really wanted to go. so, my first task was to find someone who would actually go. to my dissapointment, i was unable to do so. so then my sis ajak me to go watch it with her and her friends. i obviously didnt go, because imagine the awkward-ness?! so i just winged it and decided to go watch it by myself. so, at four o'clock in the afternoon i got ready. put on some nice clothes and i set out on a walk. i planned to just walked around pasir ris till i found a great spot to sit down with a bottle of coke and watch the sun. i walked for just abit, till i found this nice spot at the big playground near my house. as, i was just sitting there like a mad human, ridzuan and nazir came by. in my head i went 'thank god, finally im not gona look like a lunatic anymore.' what do ou think when you see this suspicious looking person staring up to a block of flats? wouldnt you be scared? haha, i would. so they came by and told me they were just waiting for farhan to come down to sit and chat. YAY! so we sat while i stared at the sun. IT WAS LITERALLY AWESOME!! i could see it concave bit by bit. i could see the moon! hahahah! it was soooooooooo cool. the power of god man. i witnessed the coolest thing ever. so, as, nazir, ridzuan, and farhan played games at the playground, i wathched the sun start being covered by the sun. as i watched, i was veiwing it, me and azhar were like sms-ing. we were like talking about how it was TOO AWESOME TO BE TRUE!! and that we were wondering whether we were geeks or nerds for loving the eclipse, so we concluded that we were in the middle. wooh! nerks!! After awhile, farhan had to leave for his chalet, so it was left with the three of us sitting around like a bunch of sesats. the we saw syah and his family walk pass, we called out his name but he didnt catch it. go figure. he is death sometimes. sheesh. haha, jkk. its got abit late, so we then just parted our ways and i headed home. going out with not an actual aim is actually really fun. it comes with many surprises. and it can end up, being totally awesome. like today.. the universe rocks. |
